The high-performance Sandvik 14C28N steel used in the blade offers excellent corrosion resistance and hardness, making it one of the highest-performing knife steels in the world while still maintaining the productivity benefit of being fine-blankable.
The Cerakote coating on the blade enhances its corrosion and wear resistance, providing a long-lasting and durable finish for everyday use. The reversible pocketclip allows the user to choose to carry the knife tip-up or tip-down, or on either side, depending on their preference.
Additional features of the Leek include a one-handed flipper for easy, ambidextrous blade deployment, a durable stainless-steel handle with etching, patterns, or ridges for a secure grip, and Kershaw's frame lock design for a safer, sturdier, and quicker one-handed blade deployment. The Tip Lock system also ensures the blade will not prematurely open when not in use.
