The slim design makes it easy to carry, and its razor-sharp blade of high-performance Sandvik 14C28N steel allows it to handle a wide range of cutting tasks. The modified drop-point blade design is well-suited for slicing, while the slim tip provides piercing capability and the ability to perform detailed work.
For those who prefer a partially serrated blade, the 1660ST Leek is an excellent choice. Like other "Onion" knives, the Leek features the SpeedSafe ambidextrous assisted opening system, enabling users, whether left-handed or right-handed, to simply pull back on the blade protrusion or push outward on the thumbstud to have the blade ready for use.
In addition to its high-quality Sandvik 14C28N blade, the Leek features a handle made of pure stainless steel, giving it a clean, sleek appearance. To ensure confident blade use, a super-secure frame lock keeps the blade locked during use, and a Tip-Lock slider locks the blade closed when folded. The pocket clip can be configured for either tip-up or tip-down carry, and the handle is drilled to accommodate a lanyard.
The Kershaw Leek is proudly made in the USA and includes the option for custom laser engraving, making it a versatile and personalized EDC choice.
